The MLA program has been in existence since 1958. Since that time the program's mission has been to train "entry level" professional landscape architects.

The following suggestions describe the minimum supplies required to easily complete design projects using manual graphics.
Students should be familiar with some of the following publications before entering the MLA program.
All incoming students in the College of Architecture are required to possess a laptop computer. The minimum and recommended specifications can be found on the Information Technology Services (ITS) web site. It is recommended that incoming students wait until classes begin before purchasing software. A list of computer programs used by students in the College of Architecture and as well as links to where they can be purchased/obtained can be found on the ITS web site.

Public Information Policy
Programs accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) are required to provide reliable information to the public.
